These terms explain how HirayaAI may be used, what content is permitted, how pricing works and how customer protection is handled.
HirayaAI is a self-serve audiobook conversion service. It converts eligible EPUB, PDF and TXT files into downloadable MP3 audiobooks using AI text-to-speech technology. The service is intended for files you own, files you are licensed to process and public domain works. HirayaAI does not grant you rights to any uploaded content or to any third-party work.
You may only upload material that you have the legal right to convert into audio. By selecting the rights confirmation box during upload, you affirm that you have the necessary rights to the source file and to the generated audiobook. We record this confirmation with a timestamp and IP address for accountability. Do not upload copyrighted books, commercial publications, confidential material or any other work you are not authorized to use.
A free preview is generated before a full conversion so you can review the narration quality and detected file details. Full conversion is priced as a one-time payment per file. Files up to 150,000 words cost $6. Files above 150,000 words cost $10. The word count is measured by HirayaAI from the uploaded file and the exact price is shown before payment. If a paid conversion fails, HirayaAI refunds it automatically. If you are dissatisfied with a delivered audiobook, contact support and we will review the issue under our money-back guarantee.
HirayaAI keeps files only for the time needed to provide the service. Unpaid uploads are deleted after about 30 minutes. Paid audio files are available for download for 7 days and are then deleted. Please download your audiobook promptly. Once a file expires, it cannot be recovered.
You may not use HirayaAI to infringe copyright, violate privacy rights, process unlawful content, misrepresent your rights, bypass technical controls or abuse the service through automated bulk uploads. We may refuse, cancel or limit conversions that violate these terms, and we may report unlawful activity when required by law.
AI narration and automated text extraction are not perfect. Pronunciation, pacing, chapter detection and formatting may vary depending on the source file. HirayaAI is provided as is and may be updated, interrupted or limited from time to time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for a conversion is limited to the amount paid for that specific conversion.
If you believe material processed through HirayaAI infringes your rights, review our copyright and takedown page. We respond to valid complaints and remove infringing material when it is available to us.
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of HirayaAI after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
